On October 19-21 in Lviv, an international workshop \u201cMedical Law of Ukraine\u201d took place for teachers of this course. The representatives of medical and law universities of Ukraine took part in it. During these three days, the participants had an opportunity to join in master classes by international experts such as Professor Andr\u00e9 den Exter (Netherlands) and the director of the Association of Schools of Public Health in the European Region (ASPHER), Belgium Robert Otok. The Head of the Department of Medical Law of Ternopil State Medical University got acquainted with the experience of Member States on personal data protection in healthcare, main points of the concept of \u00abE-medicine\u201d and prospects of European public health development.<\/p>\n

Medical law matters such as legislative innovations, judicial practice, particularly in the European Court of Human Rights, directions of healthcare reform, presented by the Head of the Department of Medical Law of Danylo Halytsky Lviv National Medical University Iryna Seniuta, were of keen interest. Academic of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv Roman Maidanyk highlighted health services agreements and the Head of the Department of Medical Law of TSMU Kalyniuk Natalia presented lectures copywriting on Medical Law of Ukraine \u201cLegal status of the subject of a medical parties to a legal relationship\u201d due to a new curriculum.<\/p>\n
