Recently, the 25th Anniversary National Congress of Cardiologists of Ukraine took place in Kyiv. On the first day of the Congress, scientists from the Emergency Medicine Department of TNMU presented the results of a comprehensive study on cardiovascular risk markers in patients with myocardial infarction.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the section on cardiac rehabilitation, TNMU postgraduate student Ulyana Dmyterko (supervised by Professor Larysa Levytska) gave a presentation \u201cRisk Assessment and Cardiopulmonary Reserves in Patients with Myocardial Infarction and Atrial Fibrillation during Rehabilitation.\u201d The researcher unveiled the study’s first results assessing the risks and cardiopulmonary reserves in one of the most challenging patient categories. This work continues the long-standing scientific search for risk markers in myocardial infarction patients with comorbidities, conducted by the research team of Professor Mykola Shved, Head of the Emergency Medicine Department at TNMU.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Congress featured active work in specialized sections, master classes, lively discussions between experts and practicing cardiologists, the presentation of cardiology innovations, and the exchange of experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The four days of the most significant event of the year in the life of the cardiology community of our country passed swiftly. Despite the conditions of the Great Liberation War, challenging economic circumstances, and under the fire of enemy missiles, our heroic Ukrainians not only demonstrate unprecedented resilience but also continue to rapidly develop technologies in the best European traditions, including medical science and practice. The four days, filled with reports and discussions of new recommendations for diagnosing and treating key cardiological issues, will eventually translate into improved quality of medical care, saving thousands of Ukrainian hearts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
