On October 12, 2024, TNMU medical students Diana Turyk (MM-304) and Daryna Yuzyuk (MM-516) organized a practical training session on pre-medical care using elements of Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC) for 9th-grade schoolchildren at Ternopil Secondary School No. 23. The students introduced the basics of tactical medicine, including the application of tourniquets and the use of military first aid kits.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The event aimed to raise adolescents’ awareness of first aid in extreme situations. The students demonstrated proper tourniquet application techniques, discussed the specifics of using various military first-aid kit components, and practiced response protocols for different injuries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
