Implementing the ERASMUS+ LIFESTRAND project, \u201cTraining and Dissemination of Emergency Care Skills for Higher Education Institutions and Communities from Combat Zones in Ukraine and Georgia,\u201d<\/em> is in full swing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This week, the instructor team, consisting of senior trainers Nadiia Pasiaka, Olha Prokhorenko, and Alina Tomkiv, and junior trainers Nazarii Krulyk, Vitalina Sulyma, and Oksana Petryshyn, conducted another training session for the staff of Volodymyr Levytskyi Ternopil Secondary School No. 16.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Format and Topics:<\/strong> The training was offered free of charge<\/em> and conducted in person, featuring demonstrations, hands-on practice, and discussions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Participants gained valuable knowledge and practical skills in the following areas:<\/p>\n\n\n

  • Basic adult resuscitation techniques, including the use of an automated external defibrillator (AED)<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Assisting in cases of mechanical asphyxia and unconsciousness<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Controlling critical bleeding<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Providing emergency care for injuries and immobilizing fractures<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n

    Impact:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    This initiative aims to empower civilians with essential life-saving skills, making communities more resilient and better equipped to handle emergencies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
