In early December 2024, a delegation from I. Horbachevsky Ternopil National Medical University, comprising Svitlana Danchak, Director of the Educational and Research Institute of Nursing, and Professor Oksana Shevchuk from the Department of Pharmacology with Clinical Pharmacology, visited FH Campus Wien\u2014one of the leading universities of applied sciences in Vienna, Austria.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

FH Campus Wien is a European leader in training healthcare professionals, particularly in nursing and midwifery, utilizing modern educational methodologies and advanced technological resources.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

The visit aimed to strengthen international collaboration, exchange expertise in medical training, and introduce innovative teaching methodologies in nursing and related disciplines.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

The TNMU delegation held productive negotiations with FH Campus Wien Vice-Rector Evelyn Z\u00fcs-Stepan\u010di\u0107 and Head of the International Office Elisabeth Brunner-Sobanski as part of the meeting program. The parties discussed potential avenues for cooperation. Special attention was given to a meeting with the Head of the Nursing Faculty, Sabine Schweiger, and Katrin Marenitz. The participants explored bachelor\u2019s nursing education programs, reviewed the operation of the simulation center used for students\u2019 clinical skills training, and discussed the possibility of TNMU Nursing Institute students undertaking internships at FH Campus Wien. Emphasis was placed on developing management skills to prepare leaders in nursing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the meeting with Heike Polleit, Head of the Midwifery Faculty, and her deputy Sevan Sargis, discussions concerned practical training programs for midwives and opportunities for TNMU students to participate in internships under international projects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A meeting with Agnes Sturm, Head of the Physiotherapy Program, was particularly insightful. She showcased advanced technology-based learning approaches at the faculty and introduced the training room facilities, including state-of-the-art equipment for students’ practical training.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This collaboration opens new horizons for nursing and midwifery, fosters the exchange of expertise between faculty and students, and lays the foundation for joint research and educational projects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

TNMU continues to strengthen its international standing by advancing the professional training of specialists to meet European standards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
