Horbachevsky Ternopil National Medical University ranked <strong>second<\/strong> among medical and pharmaceutical universities in Ukraine and <strong>twentieth<\/strong> among the <strong>200<\/strong> higher education institutions in the country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\" wp-block-image size-large eplus-wrapper\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"741\" height=\"460\" src=\"https:\/\/www.tdmu.edu.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/01\/20-mistse-741x460.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-159585\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.tdmu.edu.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/01\/20-mistse-741x460.jpg 741w, https:\/\/www.tdmu.edu.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/01\/20-mistse-217x135.jpg 217w, https:\/\/www.tdmu.edu.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/01\/20-mistse-768x477.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.tdmu.edu.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/01\/20-mistse-200x124.jpg 200w, https:\/\/www.tdmu.edu.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/01\/20-mistse.jpg 1485w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 741px) 100vw, 741px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\" eplus-wrapper\">In compiling this year\u2019s ranking, experts considered modern trends in higher education, which is undergoing profound changes due to ongoing reforms and suffering significant losses as a result of Russia&#8217;s full-scale military invasion of Ukraine. They also considered the <strong>Berlin Principles<\/strong> adopted by participants of the second IREG meeting (Berlin, Germany, May 18-20, 2006, <a href=\"https:\/\/euroosvita.net\/prog\/data\/doc\/BerlinPrinciples.pdf\">link<\/a>) and the <strong>IREG Guidelines 2023 for Stakeholders of Academic Rankings<\/strong> (<a href=\"https:\/\/ireg-observatory.org\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/12\/IREG-guidelines2023.pdf\">link<\/a>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\" eplus-wrapper\"><strong>Key Principles of University Rankings in &#8220;Top-200 Ukraine 2024&#8221;:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\" eplus-wrapper\"><strong>a)<\/strong> Ensuring openness, transparency, objectivity, and independence in university rankings. Only publicly available data published on the web resources of independent national and international organizations were used.<br \/><strong>b)<\/strong> Considering the comprehensiveness and multidimensional nature of university activities. To this end, university performance was assessed based on broader indicators.<br \/><strong>c)<\/strong> Prioritizing European integration processes.
