It serves as an important spiritual and national day for Ukrainians. This day is a response from our country to the tragic events of February 24, 2022, when Russia launched a full-scale invasion of Ukraine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\" wp-block-image size-large eplus-wrapper\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"690\" height=\"460\" src=\"https:\/\/www.tdmu.edu.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/MED_6969-690x460.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-161473\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.tdmu.edu.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/MED_6969-690x460.jpg 690w, https:\/\/www.tdmu.edu.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/MED_6969-202x135.jpg 202w, https:\/\/www.tdmu.edu.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/MED_6969-768x512.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.tdmu.edu.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/MED_6969-200x133.jpg 200w, https:\/\/www.tdmu.edu.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/MED_6969.jpg 1024w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 690px) 100vw, 690px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\" eplus-wrapper\">On February 24, 2025, a moment of silence was held in all buildings of Ternopil National Medical University. In the administrative building of TNMU, students and faculty gathered to honor all those who sacrificed their lives for Ukraine\u2019s independence in a collective prayer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\" wp-block-image size-large eplus-wrapper\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"690\" height=\"460\" src=\"https:\/\/www.tdmu.edu.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/MED_6971-690x460.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-161475\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.tdmu.edu.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/MED_6971-690x460.jpg 690w, https:\/\/www.tdmu.edu.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/MED_6971-202x135.jpg 202w, https:\/\/www.tdmu.edu.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/MED_6971-768x512.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.tdmu.edu.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/MED_6971-200x133.jpg 200w, https:\/\/www.tdmu.edu.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/MED_6971.jpg 1024w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 690px) 100vw, 690px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\" eplus-wrapper\">TNMU chaplain, Father Ihor Drapak, conducted a memorial service, praying that all our fallen defenders receive God\u2019s mercy and that their souls find peace.
