On February 22-23, 2025, a pre-medical aid training session was held at the TNMU Simulation Training Center and Administrative Building. The event was organized by the TNMU Student Parliament and the National Scout Organization of Ukraine “Plast.”<\/p>\n\n\n

The training brought together instructors from the simulation center and medical students who shared their knowledge and practical skills in emergency aid. It began with an official opening ceremony and an intensive program covering action algorithms for stroke and anaphylactic shock. After a short break and interactive games, participants practiced techniques for assisting with dislocations, fractures, casualty transportation, burns, and heatstroke.<\/p>\n\n\n

After lunch, practical training continued, introducing participants to pre-medical aid protocols, the DR CABC protocol, tourniquet application, and bleeding control. Simultaneously, training sessions on cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and airway management were conducted. The first day concluded with a summary and preparation for the next stage of learning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On the second day, participants gathered in the TNMU administrative building to learn how to respond to electric shock injuries and frostbite. After a break, they studied first-aid procedures for poisoning and the essentials of assembling personal and camp first-aid kits. Special attention was given to psychological support for victims and first psychological aid. After lunch, discussions covered wound types and infectious diseases. The training concluded with a knowledge assessment using PMD1 and PMD2 questionnaires.<\/p>\n\n\n
