On March 13, 2025, a meeting was held in the assembly hall of TNMU<\/strong> for 1st-4th year students<\/strong> of the “Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy”<\/strong> and “Therapy and Rehabilitation”<\/strong> programs. The event was attended by Associate Professor Olha Sopel, Deputy Dean of the Medical Faculty, Associate Professor Anastasiia Bai, Guarantor of the Educational and Professional Program and a faculty member of the Department of Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Physical Education, as well as Assistant Andrii Havrylenko, Clinical Training Coordinator.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the meeting, Anastasiia Bai introduced students to the main focus, objectives, and features of the program, highlighting:
\u2714 The Professional Standard<\/strong> for “Physical Therapy Assistant”
\u2714 The Higher Education Standard<\/strong> (Bachelor’s Level) in the field of “Healthcare” (Specialty 227 “Therapy and Rehabilitation,” Specialization 227.01 “Physical Therapy”)
\u2714 The Regulations on Clinical Practice<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

She emphasized the importance of a student-centered and competency-based approach in teaching and outlined opportunities for individual learning paths, including elective courses and academic mobility programs for international and national exchange. She also provided information on where to find relevant resources on the university’s official website.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A special focus was placed on clinical practice, which takes place at one or multiple institutions depending on the profile and program requirements. Students have the opportunity to work with patients of various ages in different clinical settings, demonstrating their professional skills to achieve the expected clinical learning outcomes. The clinical practice defense will be conducted in the form of OSCE at the university\u2019s high-tech simulation training center.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Additionally, the discussion addressed the importance of academic integrity, emphasizing student and faculty responsibility for ethical behavior in education. Students were given the opportunity to ask questions to the Deputy Dean, Program Guarantor, and Clinical Training Coordinator, receiving comprehensive answers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
