Since 1989, L\u2019Or\u00e9al has abandoned animal testing and has actively implemented innovative <em>in vitro<\/em> methods, particularly the EpiSkin model, to test therapeutic and cosmetic products&#8217; permeability, irritation, and toxicity. This allows for obtaining accurate results without using living organisms, aligning with ethical standards, and ensuring product safety.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure
