The Center for the Advancement of Pedagogical and Professional Excellence at I. Horbachevsky Ternopil National Medical University organized and conducted a 30-hour training course for faculty members. The event brought together over 50 educators from both theoretical and clinical departments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Course Objectives<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The primary goal of the course was to enhance the pedagogical skills of TNMU faculty by improving their professional communication competence and equipping them with innovative, student-centered teaching methodologies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During both in-person and online sessions, participants explored key techniques for:
\u2705 Providing effective feedback
\u2705 Using the E-B-E (E-V-E) protocol
\u2705 Applying the N.U.R.S.E mnemonic to express empathy
\u2705 Delivering bad news using the SPIKES protocol<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Key Learning Outcomes<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The training program focused on:<\/p>\n\n\n

  • Recognizing the importance of empathy in medical interactions<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n

    These courses provided valuable insights and practical skills, ensuring TNMU educators are well-equipped to create a supportive and engaging learning environment for their students while fostering high-quality communication in medical practice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
