Recently, Canadian neurologist Dr. Martin A. Chepesiuk<\/strong> arrived in Ternopil. From March 24 to 31, he had numerous discussions and meetings with TNMU faculty and students. He conducted mini-lectures and training sessions<\/strong> on essential neurological examinations for fourth-year students and other active students from different courses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On the first day of his visit, Dr. Chepesiuk met with TNMU Rector Professor Mykhailo Korda<\/strong> to discuss potential areas of collaboration. They planned lectures for fourth-year students with Professor Petro Lykhatskyi, Dean of the Medical Faculty. Later, Professor Oksana Shevchuk<\/strong> demonstrated the work of the university\u2019s laboratory in the administrative building. Along with Professor Zoia Nebesna,<\/strong> they visited the Department of Histology and Embryology, where they observed teaching activities and the research work of the histology laboratory.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dr. Chepesiuk also exchanged experiences with Professor Svitlana Shkrobot, Head of the Neurology Department.<\/strong> She, along with Associate Professors Khrystyna Duve and Zoia Salii,<\/strong> gave him a tour of the department, introduced him to neurology education at TNMU, and discussed student training methodologies. Together, they planned future lectures at the department.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Throughout his stay, Dr. Chepesiuk conducted an engaging and practical lecture for fourth-year students, with support from Assistant Roksolana Nasalyk,<\/strong> who also shared insights into neurological examinations at Ternopil Regional Clinical Psychoneurological Hospital.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Additionally, Dr. Chepesiuk visited the Educational and Research Institute of Morphology at TNMU,<\/strong> where Associate Professor Borys Reminetskyi<\/strong> introduced him to the Anatomy Museum.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He then toured the Pathological Anatomy Department,<\/strong> where Professor Petro Selskyi<\/strong> provided an in-depth presentation on the Museum of Pathomorphology and Forensic Medicine<\/strong> and the Immunohistochemical and Immunocytochemical Research Laboratory.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

On March 28,<\/strong> Dr. Chepesiuk delivered a lecture on “Traumatic Brain Injuries ” for students and interns.”<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

During his intensive visit, he held daily mini-lectures<\/strong> from Tuesday to Thursday at 3:30 PM, demonstrating neurological examinations and conducting hands-on training at the university\u2019s administrative building.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Throughout his stay, he was accompanied by a dedicated OUTLOOK team,<\/strong> including Ivan Krupnitskyi, Yuliana Sayuk, Ilona Kohut, Daryna Kuzmych, Yuliia Turyk, Oleksandr Liaskovets, Anastasiia Hulko, Anastasiia Lisnychyk, Viktoriia Zavyslianska, Khrystyna Yashan, Bohdan Liashyk, Yuliia Sysiuk, Albina Pylypchuk, Oksana Stanhret, Anna Tkachuk, and Mariia Andrukhiv.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
