In March 2025, at the initiative of the Center for Educational Work and Cultural Development, a meeting was held between first-year students and their university faculty with the Senior Operative Officer of the Cyber Police Department in Ternopil Region, Maxym Servatniuk.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the event, current threats were discussed, including the recruitment of teenagers by Russian intelligence services, as well as mechanisms for countering disinformation and ensuring cybersecurity. Maxym Servatniuk explained the methods used by hostile agencies to involve youth in anti-Ukrainian activities and shared practical advice on protecting personal data and avoiding manipulation in the information space.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Special attention was given to the \u201cBrama\u201d project, which is aimed at combating information attacks and fostering critical thinking among young people. The cyber police officer emphasized that everyone can contribute to countering disinformation by verifying sources and refraining from spreading questionable content.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The meeting also featured a speech by Taras Borys, Head of the Legal Department of TNMU, who highlighted the importance of TNMU students\u2019 responsibility for their behavior in the online space, particularly on social media.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
