On April 9, 2025, a regular meeting of the Educational Program Guarantor School of I. Horbachevsky Ternopil National Medical University was held under the chairmanship of the Vice-Rector for Science and Education, Professor A.H. Shulhai<\/strong>. The key topic of discussion was preparation for the upcoming accreditation of educational programs in the 2025\u20132026 academic year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Professor A.A. Hudyma<\/strong>, guarantor of the educational and professional program (EPP) “Paramedic”<\/em>, shared valuable insights from the successful accreditation of the program. He emphasized the importance of a high-quality self-assessment report, verifying submitted information during the accreditation site visit, and the active involvement of working groups. Professor Hudyma also offered practical advice on working with university regulations and documentation, recording departmental activities on web resources, demonstrating the dynamic development of educational programs, and engaging stakeholders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Additional focus areas included:<\/p>\n\n\n

  • The link between scientific research and education;<\/li>\n\n\n\n

    Further discussion addressed general aspects of accreditation preparation. Topics included:<\/p>\n\n\n

    • Finalizing public discussions of educational programs;<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Involving the student council;<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Ensuring program alignment with the UN Sustainable Development Goals.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n

      The importance of forming effective program support teams was stressed, along with:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Reviewing elective courses in terms of staffing;<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Verifying faculty compliance with licensing requirements;<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Collecting and publishing stakeholder feedback;<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Introducing innovations into curricula, particularly AI integration<\/strong> and professional communication in medicine<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
