On April 15, 2025, a traditional Easter egg painting (pysanka) workshop was held at I. Horbachevsky Ternopil National Medical University, organized by the Center for Educational Work and Cultural Development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The masterclass was conducted by the renowned folk artist Yaroslav Osadtsa<\/strong>, who introduced both Ukrainian and international students to the ancient Lemko technique<\/strong> of decorating Easter eggs. He shared insights into the origins of this art form, traditional customs associated with pysanky, and the different types of designs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Students and faculty alike were eager to learn, carefully imitating the master\u2019s techniques and exploring new skills. Creating a pysanka is a deeply symbolic process \u2014 a journey into a world of beauty and meaning. In Ukrainian culture, the pysanka is not only one of the most ancient symbols but also a powerful talisman<\/strong>, believed to ward off evil and bring goodness to the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Participants left the workshop filled with joy, peace, and anticipation of the Bright Easter holiday<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
