The presentations highlighted the results of research in the fields of clinical microbiology and infectious diseases.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure Resistance Surveillance (ESGARS), which unites clinical microbiologists, infectious disease specialists, and researchers to actively monitor antimicrobial resistance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure particularly drug-resistant forms of the disease. These forms of tuberculosis are caused by mycobacteria that are resistant to multiple medications. Overcoming drug-resistant tuberculosis is a complex challenge due to the limited treatment options available.
