Horbachevsky Ternopil National Medical University received funding to purchase the following equipment:<\/p>\n\n\n<ul class=\" wp-block-list eplus-wrapper eplus-styles-uid-898588\">\n<li class=\" eplus-wrapper\">Adult CPR Manikin \u2013 Sani-Man<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\" eplus-wrapper\">Adolescent CPR Manikin \u2013 Kyle<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\" eplus-wrapper\">Adult CPR Manikin \u2013 BASICBilly+<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\" eplus-wrapper\">Automated External Defibrillator Trainer \u2013 Brayden AED Trainer<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n<p class=\" eplus-wrapper\">The <strong>Sani-Man<\/strong> manikin is intended for simulation training in adult cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR). Its design enables effective practice of artificial lung ventilation and chest compressions. The manikin is equipped with a special breath film-bag system that ensures hygiene and safety for each participant during training. The construction includes a respiratory system with a valve that prevents backflow of biological fluids. With anatomically accurate head positioning, trainees can perform head-tilt and chin-lift maneuvers to open the airway. The manikin allows simulation of chest compressions, artificial ventilation using barrier devices, and airway opening via head-tilt and chin-lift techniques. Additionally, BASICBilly+ includes a built-in feedback mechanism to assess the correctness and effectiveness of compressions. The device is designed to train the correct action algorithm during sudden cardiac arrest in accordance with international BLS (Basic Life Support) protocols. The Brayden AED Trainer allows practicing the full sequence of AED use \u2014 from assessing the situation and safety to electrode placement and defibrillation. Its feedback system provides audio and visual cues, enabling real-time evaluation of participant actions.
