A solemn academic gathering took place at I. Horbachevsky Ternopil National Medical University to honor the 70th birthday of Anatolii Vykhrushch \u2014 a Merited Education Worker of Ukraine, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor, Head of the Department of Ukrainian Language, public figure, and poet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The event brought together faculty from the Department of Ukrainian Language, colleagues, friends, members of his academic school, admirers of his literary work, and students. The celebration was organized by Marta Rudenko, Head of the Center for Educational Work and Cultural Development and Associate Professor of the Department of Ukrainian Language; Nad\u0456ia Oliinyk, Associate Professor of the same department; and Mariiana Varvaruk, Head of the “Art-Drama” student theater group.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The celebration began with the university anthem \u201cThe Best University in the World,\u201d<\/em> a symbolic opening, as the lyrics were written by Anatolii Vykhrushch himself, and the music composed by his friend Yurii Kitsyla.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The event\u2019s host, Viktoriia Lysetska, a student of the Faculty of Medicine, recounted the life and creative journey of Anatolii Vykhrushch, highlighting his contribution to Ukrainian science and culture.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Warm greetings and heartfelt wishes were extended by Vice-Rector for Research, Professor Ivan Klishch; Associate Professor and Academic Secretary of the Department of Ukrainian Language, Oksana Novytska; Director of the Institute for Modeling and Analysis of Pathological Processes and Head of the Department of Disaster and Military Medicine, Associate Professor Viktor Lototskyi; Head of the Department of Foreign Languages, Professor Nadiia Fedchyshyn; Head of the Department of Medical Physics, Diagnostic and Treatment Equipment, Professor Yurii Rudiak; and Director of the TNMU Library, Olena Protsiv.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A touching surprise came in the form of greetings from Larysa Patriak, Principal of Secondary School No. 17 in Ternopil \u2014 a school named after Anatolii\u2019s father, Volodymyr Vykhrushch \u2014 along with eleventh-grade students Varvara Liashchuk and Illia Dzhyryk.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The highlight of the event was a heartfelt speech by Anatolii Vykhrushch himself. He expressed deep gratitude to everyone involved in organizing the celebration, reflected on his life and achievements, shared plans for future creative and academic endeavors, and wished all present peace, well-being, and victory.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
