The study aims to establish pathogenetic relationships and explore the development of new mechanisms and features in the progression of acute peritonitis under conditions of obesity. This was achieved through the assessment of dynamics in prooxidant-antioxidant and immune systems, markers of endogenous intoxication, nitro-oxidative stress, and structural-morphological changes in
