The method was developed by New York-based clinical psychiatry professors Dr. Patricia Gerbarg and Dr. Richard Brown. At its core lies <em>coherent breathing<\/em> \u2014 a technique that activates the body&#8217;s natural ability to heal. Research shows that this practice helps balance the sympathetic and parasympathetic nervous systems, reduces stress levels, and improves immune function and overall well-being.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\" eplus-wrapper\"><strong>What does this practice offer?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n<ul class=\" wp-block-list eplus-wrapper eplus-styles-uid-ca3e84\">\n<li class=\" eplus-wrapper\">Reduced anxiety and depression symptoms<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\" eplus-wrapper\">Improved sleep<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\" eplus-wrapper\">Support for PTSD and chronic pain<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\" eplus-wrapper\">Enhanced concentration<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\" eplus-wrapper\">Development of emotional resilience<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\" eplus-wrapper\">Deepened social connection<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n<p class=\" eplus-wrapper\">The session was led by senior <em>Breath-Body-Mind<\/em> trainer Yuliana Vozniuk.
