As part of the educational process for students enrolled in the educational and professional programs \u201cHealthcare Management\u201d<\/em> and \u201cPublic Health\u201d<\/em>, an open online lecture was held on the topic \u201cAspects of the Functioning of the Healthcare System in Ukraine.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The invited speaker was Tetiana Pysklyvets<\/strong>, an experienced healthcare manager, Deputy Director of the\u201cTernopil Municipal City Hospital No. 2\u201d<\/em>, and a Candidate of Medical Sciences.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the lecture, Tetiana Pysklyvets<\/strong> <\/strong>provided participants with highly relevant and informative insights into the key aspects of organizing and operating Ukraine\u2019s modern healthcare system, paying particular attention to the following issues:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Current challenges<\/strong> facing the healthcare system, including workforce shortages, the need for digital transformation, ensuring equitable access to quality healthcare services, and optimization of the medical facility network.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Clustering of healthcare facilities<\/strong> based on levels of medical care in accordance with modern requirements and standards;<\/p>\n\n\n\n

New healthcare service packages<\/strong> planned for funding by the National Health Service of Ukraine (NHSU) in 2025 \u2014 their content, conditions for provision, and resource allocation mechanisms;<\/p>\n\n\n

    Engaging experienced practitioners like Tetiana Pysklyvets in the educational process helps students gain a deeper understanding of real-world healthcare management mechanisms and strengthens the connection between theoretical knowledge and its practical application.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
