In May 2025<\/strong>, the Department of Public Health and Health Care Management<\/strong> at I. Horbachevsky Ternopil National Medical University<\/strong> officially launched a student scientific club<\/strong> dedicated to exploring contemporary issues in healthcare management<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n

In today\u2019s rapidly evolving world, the healthcare system faces numerous challenges, driving the demand for highly qualified professionals<\/strong> capable of strategic thinking, innovation, and effective medical institution management. The creation of this student club responds directly to these emerging needs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The club is coordinated and academically supervised<\/strong> by Associate Professor Liudmyla Trushchenkova<\/strong>, PhD in Economics, program guarantor of the educational-professional program \u201cHealthcare Management.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The club\u2019s research activities will align with the department\u2019s broader scientific project:
\u201cInnovative Management Strategies in Healthcare.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Within this scope, students will explore critical topics such as:<\/p>\n\n\n

    \n
  • Strategic planning<\/strong> in healthcare institutions;<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Digital transformation<\/strong> in health systems;<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Quality management<\/strong> of medical services;<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Medical leadership<\/strong> and crisis management<\/strong>;<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Economic efficiency<\/strong> of healthcare reforms.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n

    Participants will not only gain theoretical knowledge<\/strong>, but also apply it in practice by:<\/p>\n\n\n

      \n
    • preparing scientific publications<\/strong>;<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • participating in conferences<\/strong>;<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • developing analytical reports<\/strong> and project work<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n

      As noted by Associate Professor Liudmyla Trushchenkova<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      \u201cToday, it\u2019s crucial to develop not only a strong knowledge base among students but also to encourage research engagement<\/strong>, analytical skills<\/strong>, and decision-making abilities<\/strong>. Our club will serve as a platform where students can grow both as researchers<\/strong> and future healthcare leaders<\/strong>.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      During the club\u2019s inaugural meeting<\/strong>, the following plans were outlined:<\/p>\n\n\n

        \n
      • preparation for the annual student scientific conference<\/strong>;<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • organizing a roundtable discussion<\/strong> on \u201cChange Management in Healthcare Institutions Amidst Reform\u201d<\/em>;<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • launching the first research projects<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n

        The creation of this club is an important step toward enhancing research activity<\/strong> within the Department of Public Health and Health Care Management. It aims to support deep learning<\/strong>, promote scientific inquiry<\/strong>, and foster a new generation of professionals with civic responsibility<\/strong> and a strong drive for positive change<\/strong> in Ukraine\u2019s healthcare system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
