On June 9, 2025, a dissertation defense by Oksana Levchuk took place at I. Horbachevsky Ternopil National Medical University. The dissertation was presented for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in the field of knowledge 22 \u201cHealthcare,\u201d specialty 222 \u201cMedicine.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The topic of the dissertation \u2014 \u201cPathogenesis of Structural and Metabolic Disorders of the Heart and Eye in Experimental Non-Alcoholic Steatohepatitis and Their Correction\u201d<\/em> \u2014 is highly relevant to modern medicine. It investigates the role of oxidative mechanisms in damage to the heart and eyes in male and female rats with experimental non-alcoholic steatohepatitis and evaluates the effectiveness of inositol-based treatments for the identified disorders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The academic advisor was Dr. Olha Denefil, Professor and Doctor of Medical Sciences.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
