{"id":168299,"date":"2025-06-24T11:50:13","date_gmt":"2025-06-24T08:50:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.tdmu.edu.ua\/blog\/2025\/06\/24\/tnmu-prodovzhuye-lidyruvaty-sered-medychnyh-vyshiv-ukrayiny\/"},"modified":"2025-06-24T15:02:01","modified_gmt":"2025-06-24T12:02:01","slug":"tnmu-prodovzhuye-lidyruvaty-sered-medychnyh-vyshiv-ukrayiny","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.tdmu.edu.ua\/en\/blog\/2025\/06\/24\/tnmu-prodovzhuye-lidyruvaty-sered-medychnyh-vyshiv-ukrayiny\/","title":{"rendered":"TNMU Continues to Lead Among Medical Universities of Ukraine"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\" eplus-wrapper\">The Center for International Projects \u201cEuroeducation\u201d (<a href=\"https:\/\/euroosvita.net\/\">https:\/\/euroosvita.net\/<\/a>), in partnership with the international expert group IREG Observatory on Academic Ranking and Excellence (<a href=\"http:\/\/ireg-observatory.org\/en\/\">http:\/\/ireg-observatory.org\/en\/<\/a>), has recently published the 19th academic ranking of higher education institutions in Ukraine \u2014 \u201cTop 200 Ukraine 2025.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\" eplus-wrapper\"><strong>I. Horbachevsky Ternopil National Medical University<\/strong> ranked <strong>second among all medical and pharmaceutical universities in Ukraine<\/strong> and took <strong>27th place overall<\/strong> among the 200 higher education institutions included in the national ranking.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\" wp-block-image size-large eplus-wrapper\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"680\" height=\"460\" src=\"https:\/\/www.tdmu.edu.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/TNMU-680x460.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-168278\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.tdmu.edu.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/TNMU-680x460.jpg 680w, https:\/\/www.tdmu.edu.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/TNMU-200x135.jpg 200w, https:\/\/www.tdmu.edu.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/TNMU-768x520.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.tdmu.edu.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/TNMU.jpg 1425w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 680px) 100vw, 680px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\" eplus-wrapper\">When compiling this year\u2019s ranking, the experts considered modern trends in the transformation of higher education. Special attention was given to the <strong>Berlin Principles<\/strong>, approved during the second IREG meeting in Berlin, Germany (May 18\u201320, 2006, <a href=\"https:\/\/euroosvita.net\/prog\/data\/doc\/BerlinPrinciples.pdf\">link<\/a>), as well as the <strong>IREG 2024 Conference<\/strong> recommendations \u2014 <em>\u201cAI Influence on Higher Education and Rankings\u201d<\/em> (<a href=\"https:\/\/ireg-observatory.org\/en\/ireg-2024\">link<\/a>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\" eplus-wrapper\">In the <strong>Top 200 Ukraine 2025<\/strong> ranking, increased focus was placed on indicators reflecting the impact of <strong>artificial intelligence<\/strong> on:<\/p>\n\n\n<ul class=\" wp-block-list eplus-wrapper eplus-styles-uid-937d2f\">\n<li class=\" eplus-wrapper\">research activities,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\" eplus-wrapper\">innovation output,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\" eplus-wrapper\">and the social influence of universities.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n<p class=\" eplus-wrapper\">Among international ranking systems that fully account for these effects, the <strong>THE University Impact Rankings 2025<\/strong> stands out. Its methodology incorporates cutting-edge <strong>AI tools<\/strong>, particularly <strong>large language models (LLMs)<\/strong>, for automatic analysis and verification of data submitted by universities. This significantly enhances the accuracy and transparency of the evaluation process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\" eplus-wrapper\">In this year\u2019s edition, the <strong>Webometrics ranking indicators<\/strong> were replaced by a more structured and representative indicator \u2014 the <strong>SCImago Institutions Rankings<\/strong>, updated in 2024.
