On August 4-17, 2025, 5th-year students of Ternopil National Medical University Yuriy Vyshynskyi and Maksym Yatskiv performed medical duty at the Regional Approbation Training Camp “Knights’ Call”. Nine children aged 13-15 years participated in the camp.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The camp was organized through journeys and temporary stops, through beautiful and extremely picturesque forests and villages of Zolochiv region. The participants visited the hiding place of a UPA soldier in Voronyaki, the majestic Univ Lavra, the museum-house of the first female officer of the Ukrainian Galician Army, Olena Stepaniv, and also simply traveled, enjoying the beauty of the local forests.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the camp visit, students professionally provided first aid, accompanied children and monitored their health, which allowed them to improve their skills and communication.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Yuriy and Maksym also conducted first aid training, taught them how to check consciousness, ensure airway patency, and demonstrated the principles of cardiopulmonary resuscitation, taught them how to apply a tourniquet, introduced wound tamponade and splinting, and then practiced their skills.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
