On September 16, 2025, the Educational and Scientific Institute of Nursing at TNMU held an orientation session for students enrolled in the distance learning program in the specialty \u201cNursing.\u201d The meeting was attended by the Director of the Institute, Svitlana Danchak, her Deputy, Liudmyla Mazur, Assistant at the Department of Higher Nursing Education, Patient Care and Clinical Immunology, Yuliia Kotsaba, and Dean\u2019s Office Methodologist, Mariia Vasylyshyn.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The students were welcomed by the Director of the Institute of Nursing, Svitlana Danchak, who presented the Institute\u2019s achievements in academic and scientific fields, educational activities, and international cooperation. She also provided information about the bachelor\u2019s and master\u2019s degree educational programs, as well as the educational and scientific program in Nursing. Master\u2019s students were given detailed explanations about conducting research, preparing and publicly defending their theses. Opportunities for students of the Institute to participate in international projects with TNMU\u2019s partner universities were also highlighted. In addition, Svitlana Danchak invited the students to take part in the international scientific conference \u201cNursing and Modern Challenges,\u201d<\/em> which will be held at the Institute on October 21\u201322, 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In her presentation, Liudmyla Mazur focused on the specifics of learning through the Moodle educational platform. She emphasized the importance of securing student accounts through the use of individual logins and passwords, as well as the creation of educational email accounts. She demonstrated the methods of assessing knowledge gained from lectures and practical classes, and stressed the importance of constant communication between participants in the educational process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Yuliia Kotsaba spoke about the methodology of organizing and the specifics of internship training for distance learning students. She familiarized students with the timelines of practical training and the reporting documentation. She also informed them about opportunities to take part in PEN-protocol training courses, implemented within the framework of a World Health Organization initiative.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the end of the meeting, the students had the opportunity to ask all their questions of interest.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
