Serhii Karpeniuk, a PhD student of L. Kovalchuk Surgery No.1 with Urology and Minimally Invasive Surgery Department, participated in the 39th Annual Meeting of the European Society for Vascular Surgery (ESVS)<\/strong>, which took place on September 23\u201326, 2025, in Istanbul.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He delivered a plenary presentation titled \u201cTIME-Concept in Action: the Nature of the Wound Bed at the Stages of Leg Ulcer Treatment.\u201d<\/strong> The co-authors of the study are Anatolii Bedeniuk, Petro Bodnar, and Tetiana Bodnar.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The plenary session was chaired by distinguished international experts:<\/p>\n\n\n

  • Professor Stavros Kakkos (Greece)<\/strong> \u2013 Head of the Department of Vascular Surgery at the University of Patras, current President of the European Venous Forum, and among the top 2% of scientists worldwide;<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Professor A. Kursat Bozkurt (Turkey)<\/strong> \u2013 current President of the European College of Phlebology.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n

    Following his presentation, Serhii Karpeniuk<\/strong> received words of appreciation from colleagues for his engaging and meaningful report.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    The TNMU PhD student also actively participated in section meetings dedicated to chronic limb-threatening ischemia, venous pathology, and diabetic foot<\/strong>, and attended the technological exhibition<\/strong> held during the conference.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
