On October 20, in accordance with the 2025 Admission Regulations, the enrollment process to higher education institutions was completed. This year, 952 first-year students<\/strong> joined the TNMU community \u2014 almost 200 more than last year<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Traditionally, the most popular program among applicants was \u201cGeneral Medicine\u201d<\/strong>, with nearly 300 enrolled students<\/strong>. The number of future dentists<\/strong> increased by 50%<\/strong> compared to the previous year \u2014 157 students<\/strong> were admitted. The \u201cNursing\u201d<\/strong> program continues to attract strong interest. As in previous years, the highest competition was for the \u201cTherapy and Rehabilitation\u201d (Bachelor\u2019s)<\/strong> program \u2014 all 100 licensed places<\/strong> were filled.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition, more than 100 international students<\/strong> were admitted to various educational programs at TNMU in 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A successful initiative of the university administration was the launch of the \u201cClinical Psychology\u201d<\/strong> program at both Bachelor\u2019s and Master\u2019s levels<\/strong>. This year, 60 bachelor\u2019s students<\/strong> and 28 master\u2019s students<\/strong> began their studies in clinical psychology. Interest has also grown significantly in the \u201cHealthcare Management\u201d<\/strong> program, licensed last year \u2014 26 students<\/strong> were enrolled.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the end of September, during the additional admission period, the Ministry of Health of Ukraine<\/strong> and the Ministry of Education and Science<\/strong> announced updates to the educational standard for the \u201cNursing\u201d<\/strong> specialty with a specialization in Emergency Medicine<\/strong>. Combat medics and medical instructors are now allowed to pursue higher education in this specialization through part-time studies<\/strong>, enabling Ukraine\u2019s Defenders to upgrade their professional qualifications and facilitate reintegration into civilian life after military service.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As TNMU is one of the leading institutions in paramedic training<\/strong>, on November 1<\/strong>, 43 combat medics<\/strong> will begin their studies. Among them are demobilized soldiers, officer-trainers of tactical medicine schools and training centers<\/strong>, as well as active-duty service members currently on the front line<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is worth noting that this year, TNMU achieved the highest rate of fulfillment of the state-funded admission quota<\/strong> among Ukrainian medical universities \u2014 over 90%<\/strong>. The Ministry of Health<\/strong> plans to allocate the remaining unfilled places from the summer admission campaign for the education of combat medics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As university instructors jokingly say, a student becomes a \u201creal\u201d one only after completing the first exam session<\/em>. The Admissions Committee<\/strong> wishes all newly enrolled students success in their studies and reminds them that an Open Day<\/strong> will take place on November 9 at 12:00<\/strong> in the University Assembly Hall<\/p>\n\n\n\n
