On November 16, 2025, the Mental Health Center of Ternopil National Medical University received an NHSU (National Health Service of Ukraine) package under the category \u201cPsychiatric care and psychosocial support for adults and children in outpatient settings provided in mental health centers.\u201d<\/em> This package includes psychosocial and psychiatric support for adults and children in specialized centers served by mobile multidisciplinary teams. As a result, the center has officially become a healthcare and preventive facility that provides assistance to residents of Ternopil, students, faculty, and military personnel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The center has been operating since August 2025 and demonstrates stable growth in demand: each month, specialists consult more than 100 individuals. This highlights the urgent societal need for a modern and accessible mental health support system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The multidisciplinary team includes psychiatrists, a psychotherapist, a clinical psychologist, and a nurse.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

All services are provided in accordance with NHSU requirements and are completely free of charge for everyone seeking help.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

One of the key features of the center\u2019s work is its mobile multidisciplinary team. Specialists visit patients directly when they are unable to visit the facility themselves. This brings care closer to those who need it most, ensuring a safe and convenient format of support.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mobile services cover:<\/p>\n\n\n

    \n
  • people with disabilities and those unable to leave their place of residence;<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • military personnel and demobilized soldiers, providing on-site psychiatric and psychological support.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n

    Assistance is offered to TNMU students, active-duty service members and veterans, university hospital staff, residents of the Ternopil community, children and adolescents, and families experiencing crisis or stress.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Services include the full spectrum of psychosocial and psychiatric care under NHSU Package No. 72, including diagnostic assessment of disorders (PTSD, depression, anxiety), individual and trauma-focused psychotherapy, crisis interventions, and group programs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
