On this day, the Declaration of Principles on Tolerance was adopted, affirming equality for all people regardless of race, gender, language, nationality, religion, or health status.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\" eplus-wrapper\">For the students of the Institute of Nursing, an event dedicated to the Day for Tolerance was organized on November 17, 2025. The speakers were:<\/p>\n\n\n<ul class=\" wp-block-list eplus-wrapper eplus-styles-uid-364b67\">\n<li class=\" eplus-wrapper\"><strong>Taras Piatkovskyi<\/strong> \u2013 Head of the Center for Combating Discrimination and Harassment, Associate Professor of the Department of Microbiology, Virology, and Immunology;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\" eplus-wrapper\"><strong>Yanina Chaikivska<\/strong> \u2013 Press Secretary of TNMU, Associate Expert at the East Asia Bureau of the Globalistics Center \u201cStrategy XXI\u201d.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n<p class=\" eplus-wrapper\">Taras Piatkovskyi introduced participants to the concept of tolerance and the relevant legal provisions. He spoke in detail about the work of the TNMU Center for Combating Discrimination and Harassment, whose mission is to prevent violations of tolerance or discrimination at the university and to assist members of the educational community in cases of such incidents. He also addressed the topic of gender equality in terms of legislation. Participants showed great interest in the real cases resolved with the support of the Center\u2019s staff. She spoke about the forms of discrimination, the concept of aggression, its levels, methods of addressing it, constructive conflict resolution, and effective communication. She also discussed the availability of professional assistance in complex situations.
