As part of the educational component \u201cIntroduction to the Specialty\u201d<\/em>, and at the invitation of Associate Professor Neonila Korylchuk, first-year students of the Clinical Psychology<\/em> bachelor\u2019s program had the opportunity to meet with Tetiana Husieva, Head of the Psychological Service at TNMU and Program Director of the Clinical Psychology<\/em> educational program.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the meeting, future clinical psychologists learned about the work of the university\u2019s psychological service and other psychological support services, visited the psychologist\u2019s office, and asked questions regarding the organization of psychological assistance and the areas of work of service specialists.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Special attention was paid to professional ethics, confidentiality, and the principles of a psychologist\u2019s work in a medical setting. Tetiana Husieva outlined current challenges in the field of student mental health and emphasized the importance of developing self-help skills among future clinical psychologists.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The event took place in an open and friendly atmosphere at the Mental Health Center, providing valuable practical experience for first-year students who are just beginning their professional journey in clinical psychology.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
