These scholarships will be awarded to young people who find themselves in difficult financial circumstances and demonstrate high academic performance. In this regard, an agreement was signed on November 26, 2025, with Acting Rector of TNMU, Mykhailo Korda. In total, four scholarships will be offered \u2014 two for fifth-year students and two for sixth-year students.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\" wp-block-image size-large eplus-wrapper\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"690\" height=\"460\" src=\"https:\/\/www.tdmu.edu.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/yzobrazhenye-whatsapp-2025-11-27-v-15.14.19_612d54cd-690x460.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-175032\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.tdmu.edu.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/yzobrazhenye-whatsapp-2025-11-27-v-15.14.19_612d54cd-690x460.jpg 690w, https:\/\/www.tdmu.edu.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/yzobrazhenye-whatsapp-2025-11-27-v-15.14.19_612d54cd-202x135.jpg 202w, https:\/\/www.tdmu.edu.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/yzobrazhenye-whatsapp-2025-11-27-v-15.14.19_612d54cd-200x133.jpg 200w, https:\/\/www.tdmu.edu.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/yzobrazhenye-whatsapp-2025-11-27-v-15.14.19_612d54cd.jpg 751w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 690px) 100vw, 690px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\" eplus-wrapper\">The following university students may apply for the Stefan Khmil Named Scholarship:<\/p>\n\n\n<ul class=\" wp-block-list eplus-wrapper eplus-styles-uid-101d8a\">\n<li class=\" eplus-wrapper\">Fifth-year students enrolled in the Educational and Professional Program \u201cGeneral Medicine,\u201d who achieved the highest average grade in the course \u201cObstetrics and Gynecology\u201d during their fourth year;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\" eplus-wrapper\">Sixth-year students who achieved the highest average grade in the course \u201cObstetrics and Gynecology\u201d during their fifth year.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n<figure class=\" wp-block-image size-large eplus-wrapper\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"690\" height=\"460\" src=\"https:\/\/www.tdmu.edu.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/image003-17-690x460.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-174975\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.tdmu.edu.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/image003-17-690x460.jpg 690w, https:\/\/www.tdmu.edu.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/image003-17-202x135.jpg 202w, https:\/\/www.tdmu.edu.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/image003-17-200x133.jpg 200w, https:\/\/www.tdmu.edu.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/image003-17.jpg 751w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 690px) 100vw, 690px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\" eplus-wrapper\">Preference will be given to students who are participants (or children of participants) in combat operations; children of fallen or missing Ukrainian defenders; students in difficult financial circumstances; those from large families; and internally displaced persons.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\" eplus-wrapper\">\u201cOne of the first steps in supporting talented youth was awarding scholarships to students of the Ternopil Educational Complex \u2018Comprehensive School I\u2013III Levels \u2013 Medical Lyceum No. 15,\u2019 whose parents are on the front line, who come from low-income families, who dream of becoming doctors, and who study excellently. A total of ten scholarships were awarded \u2014 five for financially disadvantaged students and five for those with excellent academic achievements. At that time, I had the idea to establish scholarships for students of Ternopil National Medical University who aspire to become obstetricians and gynecologists and who are financially insecure. We also have several programs focused on charity and supporting Ukrainians. These include free in vitro fertilization for military personnel since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, cryopreservation of biological material for soldiers, and many other projects. I decided to help students during this challenging time \u2014 they are having a particularly tough time.
