Medical University and the company \u201cMED3DRUK,\u201d a new training course for prosthetist-orthotist students was launched: <em>\u201c3D Modeling of Decorative and Protective Covers to Restore Lost Limb Volume, Protect the Prosthesis, and Prevent Clothing Damage.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\" wp-block-image size-large eplus-wrapper\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" implemented as part of a charitable social project aimed at producing 3D-printed devices for people affected by the war.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\" wp-block-image size-large eplus-wrapper\"><img 100vw, 336px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\" eplus-wrapper\">This is a hands-on training program that introduces students to modern 3D modeling and printing technologies used in medicine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\" eplus-wrapper\">The main focus of the course is the creation of decorative and protective prosthetic covers that:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\" eplus-wrapper\">\u2022 help restore the lost volume of a limb;<br \/>\u2022 protect the prosthesis from damage;<br \/>\u2022 prevent clothing from tearing or wearing out;<br \/>\u2022 support the psychological adaptation of prosthesis users.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\" wp-block-image size-large eplus-wrapper\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"345\" height=\"460\" aims to combine student training with real assistance to individuals who need modern rehabilitation devices, while advancing innovative medical education in Ukraine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\" eplus-wrapper\">The founders of the company, Khrystyna Loza and Yevhen Loza, are actively developing medical 3D printing in Ukraine.
