Horbachevsky Ternopil National Medical University, with the support of charitable assistance from the non-profit social enterprise <em>Penta<\/em>, Professor Hubert Egger of the University of Applied Sciences Upper Austria (FH Upper Austria), as well as <em>DTCare<\/em>, which ensured the transportation of specialized equipment to the educational institution.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\" wp-block-image size-large eplus-wrapper\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"612\" height=\"460\" src=\"https:\/\/www.tdmu.edu.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/image001-18-612x460.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-176181\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.tdmu.edu.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/image001-18-612x460.jpg 612w, https:\/\/www.tdmu.edu.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/image001-18-180x135.jpg 180w, https:\/\/www.tdmu.edu.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/image001-18-768x577.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.tdmu.edu.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/image001-18-200x150.jpg 200w, https:\/\/www.tdmu.edu.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/image001-18.jpg 801w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 612px) 100vw, 612px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\" eplus-wrapper\">The laboratory is equipped with modern components for assembling and adjusting prosthetic and orthotic devices, including hydraulic, mechanical, and electronic knee joints, universal prosthetic feet, and various types of bionic upper-limb prostheses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\" wp-block-image size-large eplus-wrapper\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"708\" height=\"460\" src=\"https:\/\/www.tdmu.edu.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/image002-4-708x460.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-176183\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.tdmu.edu.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/image002-4-708x460.jpg 708w, https:\/\/www.tdmu.edu.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/image002-4-208x135.jpg 208w, https:\/\/www.tdmu.edu.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/image002-4-768x499.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.tdmu.edu.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/image002-4-200x130.jpg 200w, https:\/\/www.tdmu.edu.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/image002-4.jpg 867w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 708px) 100vw, 708px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\" eplus-wrapper\">Using these prosthetic devices, prosthetics and orthotics students study the components of prosthetic constructions, master technologies for their assembly, and practice configuring and adapting them to the individual needs of patients. Students have the opportunity to develop practical skills using the provided equipment, enabling them to prepare effectively for real-life prosthetic procedures. This is particularly important in the context of the growing demand for qualified specialists in the field of prosthetics and orthotics, especially for patients affected by the war.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\" wp-block-image size-full eplus-wrapper\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"401\" height=\"260\" src=\"https:\/\/www.tdmu.edu.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/image003.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-176186\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.tdmu.edu.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/image003.png 401w, https:\/\/www.tdmu.edu.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/image003-208x135.png 208w, https:\/\/www.tdmu.edu.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/image003-200x130.png 200w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 401px) 100vw, 401px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\" eplus-wrapper\">Classes in the simulation training laboratory are conducted as part of <span style=\"margin: 0px;padding: 0px\">several specialized disciplines, including\u00a0<em>Fundamentals of Prosthetics and Orthotics<\/em>,\u00a0<em>Technical Skills in Prosthetics and Orthotics<\/em>, and selected topics within the\u00a0<em>Prosthetics<\/em>\u00a0and\u00a0<em>Orthotics courses<\/em><\/span>.
