On January 28, 2026<\/strong>, representatives of the charitable organization \u201cJohanniter Mission Siret\u201d<\/strong> (Romania) visited I. Horbachevsky Ternopil National Medical University (TNMU)<\/strong> with an important mission \u2014 to donate an ambulance<\/strong> for TNMU\u2019s needs, which can be used for student training and clinical work<\/strong>. The foreign delegation was led by Ana-Maria Maidaniuc<\/strong> (Romania) and included Elisabeth Laman<\/strong> (Netherlands), Trip Kim Jansen<\/strong> (Netherlands), Otto Eulenburg<\/strong> (Germany), Nicolaus Abt<\/strong> (Germany), Gotthard von Falkenhausen<\/strong> (Germany), Peter Lohse<\/strong> (Germany), and Franziska von Zech<\/strong> (Germany).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The cooperation between TNMU and Johanniter Mission Siret<\/strong> has been ongoing for several years and serves as an example of effective international partnership in medicine and humanitarian support<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The delegation met with the Acting Rector of TNMU, Professor Mykhailo Korda<\/strong>. During the meeting, they discussed further cooperation, including the implementation of humanitarian initiatives, support for regional medical institutions, and the development of international partnerships. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

As a token of appreciation for long-term collaboration, Mykhailo Korda<\/strong> presented the representatives of Johanniter Mission Siret<\/strong> with letters of thanks and commemorative gifts<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the visit, humanitarian aid was also delivered to Ternopil City Municipal Hospital No. 2<\/strong>, including medical supplies and a specialized medical tent<\/strong>. The delegation was welcomed by the hospital\u2019s Medical Director of Pediatrics, Oleh Kobryn<\/strong>, who acquainted the guests with the hospital\u2019s operations and needs. Additionally, Koziivka Central District Hospital<\/strong> received humanitarian assistance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In total, Ternopil City Municipal Hospital No. 2<\/strong> received 3,115 kg of medical supplies<\/strong>, while Koziivka Central District Hospital<\/strong> received 680 kg<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Students from TNMU\u2019s university-wide volunteer movement \u201cMisericordia\u201d<\/strong> participated in the mission, including Sofiia Kucharchuk, Yelyzaveta Myakhkota, Dmytro Pasiievych, Viktoriia Mosula, Stanislav Slyvka, Varvara Liashchuk, Valentyna Dydyk, Tetiana Hrasovnyk, Kateryna Naumchuk, Viktoriia Kalyn, Karina Bizhko, and Kateryna Lushpins\u2019ka<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
