On February 19, 2026, first-year students of the Medical Faculty at I. Horbachevsky Ternopil National Medical University met with Maksym Servatniuk, Senior Operative Officer of the Cybercrime Counteraction Unit in Ternopil Region of the Cyber Police Department of the National Police of Ukraine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The meeting focused on combating online fraud and the \u201cCyber Brama\u201d project. Mr. Servatniuk introduced the audience to common online fraud schemes and methods, illustrating them with real cybercrime cases from the region. He also provided practical advice on recognizing fraud attempts, protecting personal data, and securing financial accounts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The national project \u201cCyber Brama\u201d was created by the European Union Advisory Mission Ukraine at the initiative of the Cyber Police Department of the National Police of Ukraine, in partnership with the NGO \u201cMINZMIN\u201d and the company \u201cYedynka.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This initiative helps users learn how to safely navigate the internet, prevent and counteract online crimes, and avoid becoming victims of hostile propaganda. Through the platform, users can learn how to use modern digital technologies, social media, online platforms, and applications safely, as well as understand potential risks in cyberspace.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition, the project enables everyone to contribute to identifying and blocking malicious content, whether fraudulent or informational.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
