On March 12, 2026, an open lecture by renowned European scholar, Professor Yevhen Bohodistov from the Austrian university MCI | The Entrepreneurial School (Innsbruck), was held at I. Horbachevsky Ternopil National Medical University. The event, held in a hybrid format, brought together master\u2019s students in the \u201cHealthcare Management\u201d program and students from the Faculty of Medicine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Professor Yevhen Bohodistov is a leading specialist at the Department of Strategic Management and Organizational Behavior at MCI. His research focuses on the intersection of process management, dynamic organizational capabilities, and the psychological aspects of decision-making. With a solid academic background obtained in Ukraine and Germany (European University Viadrina), Professor Bohodistov represents a modern European approach to management, combining academic depth with practical experience in implementing international projects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The lecture topic was \u201cFundamentals of Strategy.\u201d<\/em> The speaker addressed key questions: what strategy means in an era of uncertainty, and why strategic planning is critically important for healthcare institutions. A distinctive feature of the lecture was the author\u2019s method of live communication and interactive dialogue. Professor Bohodistov moved away from the traditional monologue format, engaging students in intensive interaction. This approach enabled students to better grasp complex management concepts, transforming them into practical tools.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Such interaction fosters the development of strategic intuition, allowing future managers not only to observe changes but also to proactively model the development of healthcare institutions in crisis conditions. This method helped participants not just memorize definitions but truly \u201cexperience\u201d strategic scenarios, adapting them to the realities of the Ukrainian healthcare system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
