March 23, 2026, became an important step for students in grades 8\u201310 of the Ternopil Classical Lyceum toward understanding the value of human life and the responsibility for it. Within the walls of the Simulation Training Center of I. At Horbachevsky Ternopil National Medical University, students had a unique opportunity to gain knowledge and skills that can be crucial in critical situations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Together with Associate Professor of the Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Tetiana Kucher, and the head of the lyceum\u2019s military-patriotic club, Snizhana Petryk, the students explored the center\u2019s modern resources\u2014from high-tech manikins to specialized simulators that replicate real-life scenarios.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The key event was a practical seminar conducted by the head of the Simulation Training Center, Antonina Chervatiuk. The seminar was also supported by center specialist Oleh Kosinskyi and paramedic students. The main goal of the event was to teach young people the basics of cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), as in today\u2019s challenging conditions, every second can be decisive.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The event’s format was close to real-life conditions: each participant not only observed but also personally practiced action algorithms, training on manikins and performing resuscitation procedures. Live interaction with instructors, questions, and professional guidance made the training dynamic and meaningful.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Such initiatives are more than just training sessions. They are an investment in public safety and in shaping a generation capable of acting decisively and competently in emergency situations. After all, the ability to provide first aid promptly can save a life even before medical professionals arrive.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
