His active work with students at the Austrian university is combined with the development of innovative solutions that are now used by leading global companies.

The meeting was held in a friendly atmosphere in the simulation training laboratory for prosthetists and orthotists. In 2024, Professor Egger also contributed to the creation of this laboratory by providing prosthetic components for educational purposes, including bionic systems. During the meeting, these tools were actively used in student training.

In his lecture, the professor spoke about the features of neuromuscular interfaces in limb prosthetics. Students asked engaging questions and actively participated in the discussion, demonstrating a high level of interest and professional motivation.

During the practical part of the session, electromyography (EMG) signal analysis was demonstrated, including the detection of noise and signal instability.

Professor Egger encouraged students not to limit themselves to mastering existing methods and technologies, but to think more broadly—to develop their own ideas, implement innovative prosthetics solutions, and actively work on creating their own projects and startups. He emphasized the importance of creativity, an interdisciplinary approach, and a readiness to take responsibility for developing modern prosthetic technologies.

The equipment acquired by TNMU for use in the educational process is highly relevant to modern prosthetics, particularly for working with systems equipped with sensors, microprocessors, and biofeedback technologies. Its use will help students develop practical skills necessary for designing and configuring innovative prosthetic devices. Moreover, it opens opportunities for completing qualification projects and conducting joint research in collaboration with the University of Applied Sciences Upper Austria.

Professor Hubert Egger carries out his visits during his personal vacation, as official business trips to a country at war are currently not предусмотрені. Despite this, his dedication to his profession, sincere desire to share knowledge, and support for prosthetics development in Ukraine overcome any limitations. This initiative is a vivid example of international solidarity, professional responsibility, and strong motivation to advance education and science even under challenging conditions.

We sincerely thank Professor Egger for this initiative and ongoing support, as the educational program is relatively new and the field of prosthetics today requires continuous development, research, and implementation of innovative technologies.
