The Olympiad was organized by the Department of Therapeutic Dentistry at I. Horbachevsky Ternopil National Medical University. For the first stage of the All-Ukrainian Student Olympiad, a jury panel was formed as follows:
\u2022 Svitlana Boitsaniuk \u2013 Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry;
\u2022 Nadiia Manashchuk \u2013 Associate Professor of the Department of Therapeutic Dentistry;
\u2022 Liudmyla Patskan \u2013 Associate Professor of the Department of Therapeutic Dentistry;
\u2022 Andrii Demkovych \u2013 Professor of the Department of Prosthetic Dentistry;
\u2022 Nataliia Tverdokhlib \u2013 Associate Professor of the Department of Surgical Dentistry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fifth-year students from the Faculty of Dentistry participated in the first stage of the Olympiad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Participants completed written tasks in therapeutic, surgical, and prosthetic dentistry. They solved clinical case scenarios involving patient assessment, established preliminary diagnoses based on objective examination findings, interpreted results of additional diagnostic methods, such as dental radiographs, and described the characteristics and applications of instruments, orthodontic appliances, and other devices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

All participants\u2019 answers were evaluated by the jury members.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

First place: Khrystyna Panchyshyn (Group 503)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Second place: Mariana Bodnarchuk (Group 502)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Third place: Yana Dobrianska (Group 501)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The winners received certificates and incentive prizes, while all participants received acknowledgment and gifts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
