On March 31, 2026, the assembly hall of the administrative building of I. Horbachevsky Ternopil National Medical University became the center of youth science. It was here that the grand opening of the XXX anniversary congress \u201cThe Future Belongs to Science,\u201d organized by the Student Scientific Society of TNMU in cooperation with the NGO Association of Young Medics of Ternopil Region, took place.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This year\u2019s event brought together not only talented early-career researchers but also those who stood at the origins of this scientific tradition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The congress was opened by the Rector of TNMU, Professor Petro Lykhatskyi, who welcomed the participants and emphasized the strategic role of young science in the development of medicine in Ukraine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Vice-Rector for Research, Professor Ivan Klishch, immersed the audience in history, sharing warm memories of organizing congresses in previous years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Associate Professor Svitlana Kucher, Acting Dean of the Medical Faculty and long-time supervisor of the Student Scientific Society, spoke about her journey from student leader to mentor. \u201cThis congress is not only about presentations, but also about the continuity of generations and the formation of the scientific elite,\u201d she noted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A particularly touching moment was the greetings from distinguished guests who had once been the driving force behind the student scientific movement:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Professor Stefan Khmil is a legendary figure who initiated the organization of congresses at TNMU.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Associate Professor Liudmyla Mazur, the organizer of the 10th anniversary congress and an active co-organizer of the current event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Well-known TNMU alumni and benefactors Ihor Khoruzhyi (MC \u201cLorimed\u201d) and Nataliia Huda (Clinic \u201cMone\u201d) shared their advice with participants of the scientific forum, demonstrating through their own experience how student research can evolve into powerful practical medicine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The program of the anniversary congress is rich and highly practical. In addition to traditional sectional meetings, young scientists are participating in workshops led by leading specialists in the field.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is worth noting that the Student Scientific Society of TNMU has created a platform where theory meets practice, and ambitious ideas receive support from experienced experts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
