On April 9, 2026, an open online lecture titled \u201cOpen Science Tools for the Modern Researcher\u201d was held.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The speaker of the event was Anna Yatsyshyn \u2014 Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Leading Researcher at the Institute for Digitalisation of Education of the National Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine, and a member of the Ukrainian Reproducibility Network (UARN).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

More than 50 participants joined the event, including PhD students, early-career researchers of TNMU, and guests.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The lecture was held in the context of implementing open science approaches in Ukraine within the Erasmus+ project OPEN4UA (Open Science for Higher Education in Ukraine), aimed at integrating Ukrainian universities into the European Research Area (ERA).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the lecture, special attention was paid to researcher profiles, open science as a project management tool, issues of data preservation, dissemination and openness, the FAIR principles, and other aspects of open science.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The lecture was opened by Vice-Rector for Research of TNMU, Professor Oleksandra Oleshchuk.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The digital transformation of the world and science, the reproducibility crisis in scientific research, the requirements of major grant providers for communicating scientific data to non-scientists, citizen science and public engagement in research, as well as AI in science and peer review \u2014 this is far from a complete list of the active discussions during the lecture.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is important for researchers to adhere to the principles of open science, as this ensures transparency, reproducibility, and increases trust in research results, while also fostering broader international collaboration. At the same time, alignment with European research and open science standards is a key condition for Ukraine\u2019s European integration and access to leading scientific programs and networks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
