Under the guidance of experienced instructors, future medical professionals practiced skills in handling:<\/p>\n\n\n<ul class=\" wp-block-list eplus-wrapper eplus-styles-uid-d85176\">\n<li class=\" eplus-wrapper\">the AK-74 assault rifle: firing at targets at various distances;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\" eplus-wrapper\">the PM pistol: improving accuracy and rapid response techniques.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n<figure class=\" wp-block-image size-large eplus-wrapper\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"692\" height=\"460\" src=\"https:\/\/www.tdmu.edu.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/image002-2-692x460.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-183385\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.tdmu.edu.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/image002-2-692x460.jpg 692w, https:\/\/www.tdmu.edu.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/image002-2-203x135.jpg 203w, https:\/\/www.tdmu.edu.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/image002-2-768x510.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.tdmu.edu.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/image002-2.jpg 954w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 692px) 100vw, 692px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\" eplus-wrapper\">In addition to live firing, special attention was paid to strict adherence to safety measures, rules for handling weapons, their disassembly and assembly, and tactics for operating at a firing position.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\" wp-block-image size-large eplus-wrapper\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"692\" height=\"460\" src=\"https:\/\/www.tdmu.edu.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/image004-2-692x460.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-183386\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.tdmu.edu.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/image004-2-692x460.jpg 692w, https:\/\/www.tdmu.edu.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/image004-2-203x135.jpg 203w, https:\/\/www.tdmu.edu.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/image004-2-768x511.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.tdmu.edu.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/image004-2.jpg 871w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 692px) 100vw, 692px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\" eplus-wrapper\"><em>\u201cFor a military doctor, the ability to handle weapons is not only a statutory requirement, but also a means of protecting the wounded and self-defense in extreme combat conditions,\u201d noted the department\u2019s instructors.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\" wp-block-image size-large eplus-wrapper\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"693\" height=\"460\" src=\"https:\/\/www.tdmu.edu.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/image005-8-693x460.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-183387\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.tdmu.edu.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/image005-8-693x460.jpg 693w, https:\/\/www.tdmu.edu.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/image005-8-203x135.jpg 203w, https:\/\/www.tdmu.edu.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/image005-8-768x510.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.tdmu.edu.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/image005-8.jpg 1024w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 693px) 100vw, 693px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\" eplus-wrapper\">The students demonstrated a high level of discipline and composure, and achieved decent results in target engagement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\" eplus-wrapper\">The experience gained is an integral part of shaping the professional profile of a medical service officer ready to perform assigned tasks within the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\" eplus-wrapper\">Together to victory!
