As part of the visit to the Ternopil region by representatives of the Belgian humanitarian mission \u201cStay Safe,\u201d a lecture for students of the Educational and Research Institute of Nursing was held at Ternopil National Medical University on the topic \u201cThe Final Phase.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The lecture was delivered by nurse and palliative care expert Conny Vervynck, who arrived in Ukraine as part of a charitable humanitarian mission. The event focused on key aspects of caring for patients in the final stage of life, including modern approaches to palliative care, principles of nursing support, effective communication with patients and their families, and practical methods for symptom relief.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dr. G\u00fcnter Constandt, a family physician and CEO of the \u201cStay Safe\u201d organization, also contributed to the session. He actively participated in the discussion, commented on clinical aspects, and shared his practical experience in family medicine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The lecture was conducted in a dynamic, interactive format, giving students the opportunity not only to gain new knowledge but also to discuss real clinical cases with international experts. Such exchange of experience is an important component of modern nursing education and contributes to the development of professional competencies in future nurses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
