On April 22, 2026, a webinar titled \u201cThe Educational Process in Light of the New Requirements of the Law of Ukraine \u2018On Academic Integrity\u2019\u201d was held, with participation from academic staff and the administration of Ternopil National Medical University.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The presentation by Yevhen Nikolaiev\u2014co-author of the Law of Ukraine \u201cOn Academic Integrity,\u201d Candidate of Economic Sciences, and Deputy Director of the Educational and Scientific Institute \u201cAcademy of Teaching\u201d at V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University\u2014was highly informative and significant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the event, participants became familiar with the key principles of academic culture, discussed the fundamental foundations of academic integrity, current challenges in higher education, and practical approaches to ensuring compliance in educational and research environments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Particular attention was paid to current requirements for preparing qualification papers. In particular, emphasis was placed on the need to:
\u2022 ensure the independence of research;
\u2022 use sources correctly and adhere to citation principles;
\u2022 apply artificial intelligence technologies transparently and ethically, with mandatory disclosure of their use in academic work;
\u2022 prevent plagiarism, fabrication, and falsification of results.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The meeting became an important platform for professional dialogue and for deepening the understanding of academic integrity standards, which are an essential component of quality education and research.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
