For our university, this event was not only an opportunity to present its own experience, but also a chance to demonstrate how Ukrainian medical education continues to evolve, seek solutions, and move forward even in times of war.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\" wp-block-image size-large eplus-wrapper\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"626\" height=\"460\" src=\"https:\/\/www.tdmu.edu.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/image005-25-626x460.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-184653\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.tdmu.edu.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/image005-25-626x460.jpg 626w, https:\/\/www.tdmu.edu.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/image005-25-184x135.jpg 184w, https:\/\/www.tdmu.edu.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/image005-25-768x564.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.tdmu.edu.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/image005-25.jpg 828w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 626px) 100vw, 626px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\" eplus-wrapper\">Within the conference, Iryna Borovyk delivered an oral presentation on interprofessional simulation-based learning. Particular emphasis was placed on developing teamwork and effective communication skills that are becoming fundamental to safe, high-quality medical care. The results once again confirmed that simulation-based training creates a safe environment for developing real, essential competencies in future physicians.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\" wp-block-image size-large eplus-wrapper\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"345\" height=\"460\" src=\"https:\/\/www.tdmu.edu.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/image007-18-345x460.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-184655\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.tdmu.edu.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/image007-18-345x460.jpg 345w, https:\/\/www.tdmu.edu.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/image007-18-101x135.jpg 101w, https:\/\/www.tdmu.edu.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/image007-18-768x1024.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.tdmu.edu.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/image007-18.jpg 960w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 345px) 100vw, 345px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\" eplus-wrapper\">A poster presentation was also delivered, introducing a teaching manual for the discipline \u201cGeneral Practice \u2013 Family Medicine,\u201d developed with the support of the Ukrainian-Swiss project \u201cDevelopment of Medical Education.\u201d The presentation highlighted the integration of modern principles of family medicine into the educational process, particularly the use of the WONCA concept (WONCA tree), which helps students not only understand the discipline&#8217;s structure but also develop flexible, adaptive thinking in conditions of uncertainty. Horbachevsky Ternopil National Medical University. Representatives of the Ukrainian-Swiss project \u201cDevelopment of Medical Education,\u201d Olena Ihnashchuk and Olha Korolenko, also took part. This project supports both practicing family physicians in their continuous professional development and higher education institutions, helping them move forward confidently even under difficult conditions. This opens up opportunities for joint research and educational projects and strengthens our university&#8217;s integration into the European educational space.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\" wp-block-image size-large eplus-wrapper\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"613\" height=\"460\" src=\"https:\/\/www.tdmu.edu.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/image015-7-613x460.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-184659\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.tdmu.edu.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/image015-7-613x460.jpg 613w, https:\/\/www.tdmu.edu.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/image015-7-180x135.jpg 180w, https:\/\/www.tdmu.edu.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/image015-7-768x576.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.tdmu.edu.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/image015-7.jpg 1280w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 613px) 100vw, 613px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\" eplus-wrapper\">The knowledge and ideas gained will be implemented in the Department of Therapy and Family Medicine&#8217;s educational process, particularly in the courses \u201cGeneral Practice \u2013 Family Medicine,\u201d \u201cProfessional Communication of a Physician,\u201d and \u201cHumanity and Empathy in Medical Practice.\u201d This will further enhance students&#8217; practical training and their readiness to work in the complex conditions of the modern healthcare system. It once again reminded us that no matter how fast the world and technologies change, the heart of medicine remains constant\u2014it is the human being beside us.
