On May 7, 2026<\/strong>, a working meeting was held at I. Horbachevsky Ternopil National Medical University, between master\u2019s students specializing in Clinical Psychology<\/strong>, the guarantor of the educational and professional program (EPP), and members of the program support group. The key focus of the discussion was on current issues related to the organization of the educational process, the improvement of academic disciplines, and the expansion of practical training opportunities for future specialists.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The meeting was conducted as an open dialogue. Participants included the guarantor of the Clinical Psychology<\/strong> program, Head of the Department of Psychiatry, Narcology, and Medical Psychology, Professor Olena Venher<\/strong>, as well as members of the program working group: Professor Yurii Mysula<\/strong>, Associate Professors Olha Liuta<\/strong>, Tetiana Husieva<\/strong>, Neonila Korylchuk<\/strong>, and Halyna Klishch<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the meeting, faculty members and students thoroughly reviewed the program’s key academic components. Special attention was given to disciplines that shape the professional profile of a future clinical psychologist, including psychopathology and the propaedeutics of mental disorders, psychological counseling and psychocorrection, contemporary psychotherapeutic models, art therapy techniques, psychology of addictive behavior, and approaches to working with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Master\u2019s students actively participated in the discussion, sharing their perspectives on the educational process and offering specific suggestions for improvement. In particular, they emphasized the importance of increasing the proportion of practice-oriented classes and expanding the use of innovative teaching methods in clinical settings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The program guarantor, Professor Olena Venher<\/strong>, stressed that student involvement is critical to building an effective internal system of educational quality assurance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

All proposals and recommendations voiced by the students were carefully documented. The working group will thoroughly review them and incorporate them into the upcoming revision and modernization of the educational and professional program.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
