This initiative aims to provide transparent, automated, and direct financial support to leading Ukrainian scientists.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"eplus-wrapper wp-block-paragraph\">Recently, the official presentation and discussion of the NRS implementation concept took place, bringing together leading higher education institutions and research organizations from across Ukraine. <strong>I. Horbachevsky Ternopil National Medical University (TNMU)<\/strong> was represented at the event by <strong>Vice-Rector for <\/strong><strong>Research<\/strong><strong>, Professor Oleksandra Oleshchuk<\/strong>, and <strong>Vice-Rector for Economic Affairs, Olesia Chlek<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"eplus-wrapper wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cToday, science is becoming a field where researchers are evaluated based on the real outcomes of their work across all areas of research. As a state, we must support and encourage our scientists\u2014especially young researchers\u2014to stay and work in Ukraine. To achieve this, we are launching the National Researchers System. Researchers will independently submit information about their achievements, while evaluation will be based on automated data verification using international and national scientometric databases (<strong>Scopus, Web of Science<\/strong>, and others), open registries, and other verified sources.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"eplus-wrapper wp-block-paragraph\">The system will generate separate rankings by scientific disciplines, as well as an overall ranking and a ranking specifically for young researchers. This approach is intended to ensure fair evaluation and support for different categories of scholars.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"eplus-wrapper wp-block-paragraph\">During the presentation, the financial and organizational parameters of the NRS were outlined in detail:<\/p>\n\n\n<ul class=\" wp-block-list eplus-wrapper eplus-styles-uid-7dbaec\">\n<li class=\" eplus-wrapper\"><strong>Number of scholarship recipients:<\/strong> State support will be awarded to <strong>2,650<\/strong> of Ukraine\u2019s top researchers.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\" eplus-wrapper\"><strong>Scholarship amount:<\/strong> <strong>UAH 10,000 per month<\/strong>, in addition to the researcher\u2019s regular salary.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\" eplus-wrapper\"><strong>Duration of payments:<\/strong> The scholarship will be granted for a period of <strong>two years<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\" eplus-wrapper\"><strong>Funding:<\/strong> The total budget of the program for two years is estimated at <strong>UAH 763 million<\/strong>, with more than <strong>UAH 190 million<\/strong> already allocated in this year\u2019s state budget.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n<p class=\"eplus-wrapper wp-block-paragraph\">The <strong>National Researchers System<\/strong> will become the first comprehensive digital database of Ukrainian scientists. It will contain information on researchers\u2019 academic profiles, professional expertise, research areas, career status, and scientific achievements.
