On July 9, 2026, I. Horbachevsky Ternopil National Medical University and the Territorial Medical Association of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine in Ternopil Region signed a cooperation agreement. The document was signed by TNMU Rector, Professor Petro Likhatskyi, and Acting Head of the Territorial Medical Association of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine in Ternopil Region, Viktoriia Pytel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The agreement aims to unite the efforts of both institutions in advancing medical, educational, and research activities, as well as improving the quality of healthcare services provided to the population.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The cooperation provides for coordinated activities in delivering highly qualified and specialized medical care, promoting scientific research and implementing its results in clinical practice, as well as providing training, retraining, and continuing professional development for the institution\u2019s healthcare professionals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Particular attention will be given to the implementation of undergraduate, graduate, and postgraduate educational programmes in the field of Healthcare<\/strong>, continuous professional development programmes for physicians and academic staff, and the enhancement of methodological support for clinical, diagnostic, and educational processes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The partnership is also intended to ensure more effective use of the scientific potential, human resources, and practical expertise of both institutions, thereby contributing to the advancement of modern medical education, research, and healthcare in the region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The meeting was also attended by TNMU Vice-Rector for Science, Education and Clinical Affairs, Professor Stepan Zaporozhan, and Olena Bahuliak, Legal Counsel of the Territorial Medical Association of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine in Ternopil Region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
