The changes are \u043f\u0440\u0435\u0434\u0443\u0441\u043c\u043e\u0442\u0440ed by the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine on the formation of the state-funded admission quota for specialist training in 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"eplus-wrapper wp-block-paragraph\"><span style=\"margin: 0px;padding: 0px\">Under the new regulations, applicants enrolled on a tuition-fee basis in programs within the field of knowledge\u00a0<strong>I \u201cHealthcare and Social Welfare\u201d<\/strong>\u00a0(except for\u00a0<strong>Dentistry<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Public Health<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Social Work and Counseling<\/strong>, and\u00a0<strong>Child and Youth Services<\/strong>) may now be transferred to vacant state-funded places.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"eplus-wrapper wp-block-paragraph\">Such transfers may take place after the admission of applicants who have secured state-funded places through the regular admission process and those belonging to preferential admission categories. If vacant state-funded places remain after these admissions, they may be offered to students initially admitted on a tuition-fee basis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"eplus-wrapper wp-block-paragraph\">Previously, vacant state-funded places could not be allocated to tuition-paying students. If they remained unfilled, they were returned to the state. The newly adopted changes will ensure a more efficient use of state-funded places in healthcare education programs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"eplus-wrapper wp-block-paragraph\"><span style=\"margin: 0px;padding: 0px\">This year, the total number of state-funded places for higher education programs in <span style=\"margin: 0px;padding: 0px\"><strong>Healthcare and Social Welfare<\/strong>\u00a0(excluding social welfare programs) exceeds\u00a0<strong>9,000<\/strong>, with\u00a0<strong>9,244<\/strong>\u00a0<\/span>allocated.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"eplus-wrapper wp-block-paragraph\">The state-funded places are distributed across all levels of higher education.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"eplus-wrapper wp-block-paragraph\">For <strong>bachelor\u2019s degree programs<\/strong>, <strong>2,955<\/strong> state-funded places have been allocated, including:<\/p>\n\n\n<ul class=\" wp-block-list eplus-wrapper eplus-styles-uid-0fe882\">\n<li class=\" eplus-wrapper\"><strong>Therapy and Rehabilitation<\/strong> \u2013 2,225 places;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\" eplus-wrapper\"><strong>Nursing<\/strong> \u2013 575 places;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\" eplus-wrapper\"><strong>Medical Diagnostic and Treatment Technologies<\/strong> \u2013 155 places.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n<p class=\"eplus-wrapper wp-block-paragraph\">For <strong>master\u2019s degree programs based on a bachelor\u2019s degree<\/strong>, <strong>799<\/strong> state-funded places have been allocated, including:<\/p>\n\n\n<ul class=\" wp-block-list eplus-wrapper eplus-styles-uid-60ee8c\">\n<li class=\" eplus-wrapper\"><strong>Therapy and Rehabilitation<\/strong> \u2013 684 places;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\" eplus-wrapper\"><strong>Medical Diagnostic and Treatment Technologies<\/strong> \u2013 80 places;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\" eplus-wrapper\"><strong>Pharmacy<\/strong> \u2013 25 places;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\" eplus-wrapper\"><strong>Public Health<\/strong> \u2013 10 places.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n<p class=\"eplus-wrapper wp-block-paragraph\">The largest allocation\u2014<strong>5,490<\/strong> state-funded places\u2014is designated for <strong>integrated master&#8217;s degree programs<\/strong> for students with complete secondary education. These include:<\/p>\n\n\n<ul class=\" wp-block-list eplus-wrapper eplus-styles-uid-dd639d\">\n<li class=\" eplus-wrapper\"><strong>Medicine<\/strong> \u2013 4,550 places;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\" eplus-wrapper\"><strong>Pharmacy<\/strong> \u2013 395 places;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\" eplus-wrapper\"><strong>Pediatrics<\/strong> \u2013 209 places;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\" eplus-wrapper\"><strong>Medical Psychology<\/strong> \u2013 178 places;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\" eplus-wrapper\"><strong>Dentistry<\/strong> \u2013 158 places.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n<p class=\"eplus-wrapper wp-block-paragraph\"><span style=\"margin: 0px;padding: 0px\">It is worth noting that <span style=\"margin: 0px;padding: 0px\">15 higher education institutions under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine offer programs in the field of Healthcare and Social Welfare (excluding social welfare programs)<\/span>, including\u00a0<strong>I.
